David & I have been having fun trying the latest healthy high protein, low carb, keto friendly food trend called CHAFFLES! They are basically mini 4 inch waffles made with eggs and cheese as the base (Cheese waffle=Chaffle) and there are literally hundreds of way you can have fun playing with that recipe!.There are single chafe makers on Amazon but we loved this one for its price, ease of use and that we could have four 4 inch chaffle waffles ready to grab and go in just 5 minutes. The nonstick surface releases waffles easily too.

My Weighted Vest Find On Amazon 

This vest was originally recommended by one of the menopause doctors I follow on social media and then I saw it again recommended by a fitness over 50 + expert so I went to town researching the heck out of these things and ended up purchasing this beauty! I'm so glad I did! It adjusts to fits like a glove on me,  it's comfortable, the weight is evenly distributed and I love the removable pouch for my phone and SPF. Experts recommend you choose a vest that is 10-15% of your body weight. Best to start out lower and you can build up from there.  I chose a 16 lb vest for myself (on the higher end because I already have a pretty strong core, walking program and yoga practice.) I'm really glad I didn't go heavier. This seems just right for adding extra effort to my power walks but if you're just starting out I would recommend going lighter. Anywhere from 8-12 lbs to start.

THIS IS A GOOD READ! There is a lot of important new info coming out about the topic of menopause. What's true, what's not...what's a girl to do? Seriously this is an area our health care providers have dropped the ball on that leaves so many of us hot, flashy and confused.

My Organic Silk Pillowcase Find On Amazon

Because pillow-face is a real thing!! As a skin care professional, I see this all the time. I encourage my clients to use a silk pillowcase at night to help prevent wrinkles, keep the skin hydration and barrier healthier and to help prevent hair breakage. You don't have to spend a fortune on these pillow cases but you do have to make sure they are actual silk and of good quality. This one checked all the boxes for me! I have them in multiple so every time I change my pillowcase a fresh one goes on.
